Through profits from the sales of Hard Yacka, the Yacka Historical Group bought the town’s historic State Bank building in the main street and established an Archives and Community Centre. Local Records include: ¨ Maps and Photographs ¨ Certificates of Titles of Hundred of Yackamoorundie, ¨ Local Birth, Death and Marriage Records ¨ Local School Records ¨ Yacka WWI Service Personnel Military Records ¨ Community Records— ¨ Yacka Hall Committee, CWA Red Cross, Golf Club, Bowling Club, Uniting Church, Tennis Club, Yacka Progress Group, local family histories, The Yacka Archives and Community Centre is open from 1pm to 4 pm on the last Sunday of each month.
